Inactivating Courses

Return to A-Z Curriculum Guides

Form Options

Inactivating a course means that you are removing it from the catalog and scheduling. If you choose to reactivate the course in the future you can submit a reactivation form.

When filling out the inactivation form, please select only the most accurate reason for inactivating the course. This is for record keeping within the Curriculum office only.

Inactivating Cross-Listed Course

Inactivating a cross-listed course there can be two outcomes

  1. When inactivating cross-listed courses, both classes are inactivated
  2. You can delete one or more of the cross-listings and leave the active one(s)

This will remove the cross-listing, remove the inactivated course(s) from the catalog and schedule, and it may affect the repeatability if reactivated in the future (see Curriculum for more information).

If there are any questions they can be directed to the Curriculum Coordinator at 587-7843.
